To be fair, I don't think I've ever read a book and thought the fillum was better.
Catch 22, .... great book, shocking fillum, numerous others.
One possible exception, Bravo Two Zero.
Lord of the rings trilogy. I didn’t like the movies much, but I hated the books. So I guess that’s better.

Papillion......I enjoyed the book immensley.
And often think fondly of the the scene where they staked the guard out over the ants nest.
;)

Sounds as if you have someone in mind when you imagine that scene

Not just one person but many.
I am nothing if not inclusive !
I remember they came back 3 days later and he was still alive.
No point in wasting ammo......when you have fire ants and the fun lasts so much longer.;)

August 2013 is when I had my episode, here's a photo of some ugly mug, my right side is the frozen side, I'm trying to smile and left side (right as you look at it) is working fairly well. it made me extremely conscious of my look at the time and I can appreciate just what impact this must have on those where the symptoms remain.

Homeopathy, Is that the extremely watered down stuff they reckon cures all ills ? If so, I reckon my local pub landlord is trying it in his beer pumps. :D:D:D:D

You’re right, there aren’t many exceptions (I haven’t seen the B2Z movie - I didn’t even know there was one, but I enjoyed the book).

You should watch it. After the book became a best seller he had several offers from Hollywood for the film rights, he didn't want the story to get the 'Hollywood treatment' and eventually accepted a lesser offer from the BBC with the undertaking they would stay true to the book. Sean Bean plays McNab.

Yeah?

Cheers Chippie. I’ll add it to my queue.
I think there were 3 books in the end about his various escapes and imprisonments, I've read them several times but years ago and my memory is awful.

That was unfilmable, it was hard to work out the book.

Your wallpaper has got it as well :)

Quote from NHS england website (my bold):

Bell's palsy is temporary weakness or lack of movement affecting one side of the face. Most people get better within 9 months.

My view is that NHS England is more often than not full of Bulls droppings, i refer you to an earlier post i made on here....................go and look for it.

In my defence I will say the quote says most people get better, but I will defer to your direct experience.

Dr B
Always nice to put a face to a name.(even if it is in the Oxfam shop changing rooms)
And brave of you in this case when you are not looking your best.
Altho I do think the look has a lot going for it...ambivalence !
No one knows if you are happy ..sad...escaped.......going to attack them with a meat cleaver !
Bet they served you in Greggs pretty quick ?;)
Anyway, glad you are back to your boyish good looks, wit and charm.
(Which side did you say was affected ?....:p)

That's what i like about trench humour...take no prisoners.
And I think Dr B knows that any one of us would be happy to help him if he asked....and it's just a bit of craic.
