I have two taps on my kitchen sink. The hot water runs cold and the cold water runs hot. I have tried changing over the red and blue caps on the taps but this changes nothing. Can anyone help?
I just want hot out of my hot tap and cold out of my cold tap. Should I take the taps back? Are they faulty?

Anyhow, I hit the taps with a hammer as thats what you pro's do (oh, thats after tutting at the thing several times and quoting 3 figure numbers at it). Now its flowing correctly. I have also thrown £300 down the drain just to make sure I feel violated as I would have if I called a 'pro' in. Now the fekkin drain is blocked

The cost will be £300, plus travel costs, and I promise to take away whatever was blocking it so you don't have to deal with it. Nasty smelly stuff. At the same time I will sort out the taps for you. If I move the head off the cold tap to where the hot tap is (and vice versa) that should solve your problem.

My carer has been reading the posts and is even more confused than me. He'll contact your carer to ensure you've been taking your medication and not blocking drains with it.
