   Hi All,
   
   I have had to replace my immersion heater which was a simple job. However I question do I still need my cylinder thermostat when the immersion has an integrated thermostat?
   
   If so and why?

   I assume you can also heat the water in your cylinder by using your boiler ,and the cylinder stat is part of the boilers control system.

   That makes sense checked the wiring and it appears to be that way.
