I'll refer you to post #6
Spot on Phil, I really enjoyed laying it.
Room turned out great, metallic gold wall and woodwork.
Off this morning to floor a large kitchen, 6M by 4M. Ripped out the old kitchen & wall tiles. Took up a rather nice hardwood shingles floor. 50mm strips only about 6mm thick with hidden pins every 200mm. That is a lot of pins to deal with. Had my spread in to re plaster the whole room.
Will post some photos later. Wish my knees / back good luck
Just get on with it!
At 8AM Friday
At 4PM Friday
Nice job metro. Really like that flooring...nice 'aged' look about it. Spread has done a nice job too
Nice floor, shame its laid the wrong way
You're supposed to lay it GROOVES up.
Towards the window me thinks!
Let me guess.....'can you just connect the washers temporarily'
Haha. Yep gotta have the WM and DW on. No bloody cooker so why do you need a dw!!!
Floor direction as requested by fussy client. The window is North facing so bugger all light coming in anyway!
In the local Irish pub and on the booze by 4:15 PM. Home very merry by 9PM.
Is that a couple of dirty plates I see in the corner?
Who left them there?
