How to affix panels to a wall?

Hello,

I have some padded leather panels (on a wood background) that I need attach to a bedroom wall. How can I do that as I obviously can't put a screw through the wall. They are about 50cm by 30cm and not very heavy.

Can they be glued, and if so what type of glue?

Any number of polymer adhesives would work or if you don't want to use glue have a look at flush mounts or French cleats.
