How to Change Photo format

  1. I was not sure how to title this post so apologies.I am trying to renew my rail card but tjey need a passport size photo I scanned one but when I tried to download it it said it had to be in either JPEG or PNG format but my scanned copy seems to be in BMP format is it possible vchange the format if so how.Thank's

    Are you on Windows 10?
    Type "Paint" into the search box next to the START button.
    Drag and drop your photo into it.
    Save As... (it'll suggest a PNG but a JPG is fine - just click where it says PNG and it'll give you a list of formats it can save to).

    Right click on the photo and “open with” paint. “Save as” jpg or png.

    Otherwise try changing the settings on your scanning software to save the scan as jpg.
