How to increase boiler pressure

    Hi!

    Our boilers pressure getting lower now so will need to fill up soon to get hot water but im not sure which gauge to open. Any chance for a detailed guidance?

    its likely to be the two isolators either end of the flexi that you need to open to repressurise

    Turn the circled valve 90 degrees so it's vertical. Turn back to horizontal when the pressure gauge shows between 1 and 1.5 bar. It would have originally had a plastic handle but yours is missing.

    Pair of pliers required. Dont open the nut on the other one you will get wet :D

    Try the Blue knob that looks like the filling cirguit pipework

    Thats the retun Isolation, he'll stop his boiler circulating if he closed that

    .... and next time the system is drained get the two valves at either end of the flexible changed for ones with levers - makes it much easier.

    Thanks everyone for the help. I turned the the circle valve with pliers and filled it up then turned it back to the original position but tiny bit of water still seems to be coming out of it.

    Its sorted had to fiddle with it bit more. Now its stopped leaking water :-D

    These little ball valves *always* leak.

    One of those valves is a double check valve, not an isolator!!! It needs to be there.
