How to Mitre Half Round Fencing Rails

I am building a fence which uses 100x50mm half-round rails on 85mm round posts. Where the fence changes direction, I need to mitre the ends of the rails to meet nicely. But I cant get neat mitres.
My mitre block will not accommodate 100x50mm and I dont have an electric mitre saw with that capacity either.
So I have to mark the cut on the rails and then use a handsaw to cut as neatly as I can.
But I have not figured a way of accurately marking the half-round round the curved part.
Anybody any experience?

Place two of them in a vice or similar with the square edges on the outside & cut at 45 degrees through both at the same time.

The positioning of them in the vice would need some thought.

Can you get hold of an adjustable bevel .if so then mark out both angles on the rail where it changes direction. Then set the bevel to an equal spacing between the lines which will give the angle to be cut. Flip it over to get the cut angle on the opposing rail.

Mad, ingenious, but the two when cut would not match cos one piece would have the mitre going the wrong way

You will have two cuts the right way, leaving two offcuts the wrong way.
Which is why I said you would need to give it some thought on the positioning.
So you make sure the offcuts are in opposite directions.
