Been fitting a howdens kitchen its been a nightmare, things dont fit, damaged items. Anyway fitted eveeything and came to do the curved corner posts, open box to find matt white and its a matt grey kitchen. Apparntly they dont do matt grey corner posts. So two options either change all doors and end panels or could i spray them? Or buy elsewhere?

This makes no sense to me at all. So you are saying you have been sold matt grey doors and matt grey end panels and then Howdens casually drop in that they don't do matt grey corner posts ?
Not got one of there brochures, but do the pics of the matt grey doors show matt grey corner posts ? Me thinks you is being taken for a mug.

The kitchen isnt for me it was for a family member. We were told it was grey but didnt specify if it was matt or gloss. He came of holiday and said it was orderd as gloss grey but wed keep the.matt grey. Tbh it looks better. Anyway opened up external corner posts only to find white ones. Contacted howdens who said it must have been picked wrong as they dont do matt grey external posts and only do gloss. To change it would.be a ball ache as alot of panels are scribed. Ovens out washing mahine ect. If the matt white could.be painted the grey it would save alot of time. Or do other msnufactures do howdens colours. I shouldnt hsve to open every boxn whst was ordered should be picked

I would give another Howdens showroom a call and double check that they don't do matt grey corner posts. I'm guessing your Howdens just dosn't have them in stock and can't be bothered to get them in.
I've never fitted any doors that didn't have matching corner posts available.

Agree with Kitfit1, although I would maybe phone their head office in Howden Yorks and speak to either customer service or the technical dept.
If they really don't do that part in matt grey, tell them to make you one, it can't be that hard.

Might sound daft, but could you take one of the doors to a paint specialist (Dulux or Johnsons) and get them to match the shade then paint the corner posts ??

Your right, it is daft. If Howdens are supplying a door and end panels of a colour, they should also be supplying corner posts of the same colour. At the end of the day, every other manufacture does...............so should they.

So they changed there minds and decided they wanted the high gloss polyester they had paid for, rather than the cheaper matt grey they were supplied ? i Assume you have sent the bill for re-fitting the whole lot to Howdens ?
