Naah it needs to be as authentic as I can make it. I don't want a replica type. This is how it is done. You cannot see the cell once on the post
Authenticity went out the window as soon as you drilled the hole.
Find someone to braze a piece of copper in.

It isn't seen, plus I have to wire it into the other street lights down my street so needs to come on and off at the same time as those

Seriously mate you shouldn't have drilled it, but it's done now like you said it wont be seen.

I have to drill it out, I am wiring this in direct to the grid, no other way of control otherwise
