Progress, hopefully everything will workout ok.
mind and take copies off the actual registration on line as 100% proof
When you dropped the tools off with RR did you get receipts for them?
I have receipts for everything... Tools themselves and that I dropped them off for repair. I also have all my communications in email so I'll let you know when I get my tools back!
i’ve had the same problem i’ve contacted them and they said they can’t find my drill. he said best advice is contact liquidation company and put a claim in then put the phone down.
OK so here is the final update and outcome.
My tools could not be found. I involved DeWalt and they have replaced my tools with new ones!
I have to hand it to DeWalt - their customer service team were slow - but they delivered and I have new tools in hand.
I will continue to use and buy DeWalt tools (except for their DAB radio - has to be Makita).
Good result ... I wonder who has the originals though!
What a superb result.
glad you got it sorted
just shows to try all reasonable avenues just in case
Their good, reasonable, customer service has undoubtedly earned them much much more in future sales than the cost to them now of replacing the tools with new.
Though I'm only DIY I do tend to buy good quality tools when needed and money permits...
They will now go onto my "preferred" list!
More firms need to learn from things like this. A DeWalt's internal price it probably cost them a few hundred pounds to replace your tools. The positive advertising they will get as a result from this will pay back many times that because no doubt you will tell a few others about your result and there will be some coverage on here.
Round of applause for Dewalts excellent customer service.
