So I had 2 wall cabinets fitted and the gap between the two of them is 60cm… but I mean JUST 60cm maybe even a tiny bit less,

    so what do I do?

how can I get a cooker hood to fit in between? All the ones I look at on wickes b&q etc are all 60cm wide minimum.

Any advice will be massively appreciated

Normally there is slight adjustment on the hanging brackets, the only option really is to increase the distance slightly.

The hanging brackets of the cabinets? They have just been screwed to the wall

Most brackets are basically hooks hanging on a rail, as long as they are reasonably central you should have ample sideways adjustment.

If you can’t adjust the gap, how about fitting a 500mm cooker hood, plenty of them out there.
