You could go by road/train. Under the channel to France. Then through Benelux and Germany to Denmark. Then over the øresund Bridge to Sweden. Then into Norway.
My firms response. Couldn’t we try the nervous flyers course ? my response was unless it is business class I dare not do the course.
Hi Ok lots of advice. Pack the job in and go unemployed. Then no hassle lie in bed longer practice waking up still breathing and they post your money straight into you bank But then you can just worry about paying the rent gas electric, or in time where is the nearest park bench to sleep on. Flying wont enter into your mind then. Just existing will fill in your time. Johnny M
Good advice but a bit extreme. I have no problem doing the job it’s I have a fear of flying unless business class.
Cost of Economy return to Norway, plus the course fees ... potentially greater than Business class return. Also look at the extra costs for luggage, economy may be a minimal amount and business much better. I assume you will need "tools" or support material. I would fly Business (or First) most of the time and one day a main board director (very large plc) was on the same flight ... and we knew each other, I was in Business, he was in Premium Economy !
How odd, I got called into the managers office before I left work tonight, I was asked to go to Oslo for the company and they will book me a seat next to a window? What????? Do they think I am a child or something. I explained for the umpteenth time that I cannot fly anything less than Business class because of my dream. Are they crazy or do they just not understand my dilema, even worse do they care for my mental health. What if I start screaming and go beserk by being economy class? It is such a difficult thing to get people to understand nowadays!!!!!
I would have thought an aisle seat would be better. It would be less of a disturbance to other passengers when you keep running to the toilet.
