Identify SFCU

    20171219_121224.jpg My mother in law's flat has a broken SFCU (see picture). Can anyone identify the manufacturer and possibly a supplier from where I can get a replacement?

    Unscrew it, name will be on reverse side usually.

    They are standard fitting so any make will fit and work ok, although it won't necessarily match the others.

    It was finding a matching one that I was after. Sorry, should have explained that.

    That's ok, they're not expensive so you could change them both if it comes to it.

    They look like volex fuse spurs not sure they still do them now

    Replace all 3. its only money. £18 max.

    Looks more like Crabtree to me.

    I'd replace them all with MK Logic, but that's just me.

    A grid switch would have been neater.

    Concur a grid switch would be neater..however have never fitted a grid switch system so canne say no more..do you have to chop out more wall and stuff?..:)

    A 6 or 8 module grid faceplate would be about 146x146mm and the backox about 135x135mm.

    Many thanks Rob..maybe one day I might have the pleasure of fitting one of those grid switch systems.

    That’s a big step from swopping out a couple of tired FCUs.
