Anyone had any experience with fitting for wren? What is the pay like? What are they like when it comes to paying? I was at a job doing some bit and lads from wren turned up with the showroom manager to install the kitchen worktops got chatting and they said they are desperate for installers and all that. Had a couple of calls and a conversation about fitting for them but being koi about the price and say it differs per job etc. Just looking for any information anyone has cheers !
I would be interested to know more about Wren kitchen fitting prices. We have done a few Wren jobs. They are very well organised in the supply side. We were working privately for the client. ........ My sense is it will be like how we work for our current supply studio (kitchen shop). They price up the fit as a almost dry or showroom standard install.... with a "Fitters Summary " form compiled by the company. This gives the end client a sense of how much the basic fit is going to cost, as each element is priced. Then the chosen fitter/installer/trade is invited to go and survey for all the extras. Usual stuff..... Special plumbing Electrical work Safety work Plastering Waste recycling provision Tile removal (wall and floor) Flooring and levelling New lights in ceiling or under units Painting Skirting and Archs New socket outlet fronts. This comes together as a Quote for the additional items, then added to the Fitters Summary to give client final estimate. Do need in current climate to emphasize its an ESTIMATE and subject to change.....usually upwards!
