    Hello,

The floor of my wet room is currently 70mm insulation which is sitting 100mm below the finished floor level, I want to fit a linear drain and then screed the whole area ready for tiling.

The linear drain stands on 4 legs that can be screwed down into the ground, should i just screw it into the insulation? I was thinking a sheet of cement board might be a good solution to screw the drain in to, ie sitting on top of the insulation and then the final screed will hold it all togehter?

    Does anyone have any advice?

    Hi
Don’t forget to get the fall right, starting from the door area, and then more fall in shower area, so no puddles.

Then fix the trap as you suggested,

    Regards
    Peter
