    Hello All.

I've searched the forum but haven't stumbled across the answer to this one.

I have a polycarbonate lean to roof and I am going to insulate it.

I am planning on fixing batons (roofing lath) to the roof supports, stapling the insulation to the batons, sealing with foil tape, fixing some more batons and then cladding with Upvc.

There's one thing that I hadn't considered before I bought the gear! The roof supports (not sure of the correct term) that run at the extremities of the roof are concealed by upvc cladding. The only thing that I can think of doing is whipping the cladding off so that I can secure the batons. I'd need to trim the upvc cladding and then put it back up.

Stupid question but I can't see how I get it off!

    Any help is gratefully received.

The cladding is at right angles to the roof, in line with and above the windows by the way.

    Cheers
