Hi. I'm fitting a new dishwasher (fully integrated). It has two hoses coming out the back. One is the usual drain hose, the second looks similar but has a grey box on the end of it. I've checked the instructions we received with it plus googled for any reference to it, but only thing I can find is an 'anti flood' valve. Not sure if that's what my one is or not and if it is whether I need to use it or not. Any ideas greatfully received. Dishwasher is a hotpoint LTF11M132C

    Cheers

    What exactly is your question?
You cannot be seriously considering cutting that bit off! Just fit it to your 3/4" supply.

It's known as a AQUASTOP,a leak protection/flood protection device, it's their for a purpose, as GIF said, just fit it to your 3/4" supply.
