Internal doors: 27 vs 30 inch?

Hi,

I have got a mixture of 30 inch and 27 inch doors upstairs in my house. One of the bedrooms is 29.5 inch. I need to replace the frame on a couple of them. I was going to make two of them 27 inch openings. What is the pros and cons of 27 inch vs 30 inch? Will it look stupid?

Where is the best place to buy door casings and doors from? I want cottage style doors.

Getting furniture through a 30 inch opening is easier than a 27 inch.

if you are going round corners the reduction off 3 inches can be multiplied by 2/3 or 4 times meaning say a foot lost a bit from all dimensions on say a large wardrobe
