Can a gas flue be run outside for a short distance if treated for rust prevention etc?

i.e. Through the wall 90 degree vertical rise for 500mm then exit to atmosphere?

You mean a boiler flue? The instruction manual should tell you if permissable. Some boiler flues can have flue kits on them to extend up and away from possible nuisance scenarios. What boiler is it?

Not sure on the model at the mo but it's a one of a pair of Baxi's in a commercial premises.

The Flue on one currently fires in to the back of an A/C unit so needs shifting upwards 500mm or so

There is no room to go up on the inside as there are concrete stairs above the Boilers

A commercial situation could be slightly different but cannot see a prob, thats without seeing it of course. Just check that you can have 90 degree bends in the flue within the distance you are intending. If not sure and you dont have manual, probably best to check with baxi after finding what the model is
