  1. That's all!

Phew - please phone May right away with the good news. And then call Arlene (who you have a lot in common with*.)

*Oops - I thought I was replying to Mr Ha. So shall I change this bit? Nah...

  2. Oh that is REALLY funny! Oh my - the humour. The subtlety. The satire...

Tell us where you found that, IIR. Which challenging source did that little beaut come from?

  3. Quelle surpise.

But no 'desperation' on their side, IIR - just bemusement.

The honest truth is, the EU doesn't really have to do anything to plant obstacles - all the self-destruction on the UK side is self-inflicted.

And I'm pleased to say - since it's so depressing how low our country has sunk in the eyes of the world - it's also really quite funny.

    'Bitter-sweet', as it were.

A bit like you. Without the sweetness.

  4. I know what - in my mind, and out - 'equates' a hard border, Longs, both in terms of political/regulatory and in physical form. Thanks for asking.

And well done for trying to begin a 'point' with your new 'sensible' persona. But it's pointless. Because you have left far too much bull**** on this forum over the past year to show what this is really all about for you - your mettle, your 'values', your yuckety yuck-yuck.

  5. Still swerving to the bananas rather than explaining about the borders you voted for I see.

  6. Your question is as obvious as an obvious thing, and it is a very complicated issue as you (genuinely) know.

However, I think this article covers it well. It might be an idea for a few of your other brexiteers who voted for these hard borders has a good read of it.

Do you want hard borders or not ? You did vote for them after all, 1 of the major points.

  7. Do you want (are you able?) to explain these obstacles?

I believe every 1 of them has arisen because of our unpreparedness for leaving the eu (it was always explained it would be simple), and not 1 of them has arisen as a way of keepin us in. But I am sure you can support your statement. I hope so, because it looks like frustration showing at how you were misled over how easy it would be to leave.

None of us knew the inticracies involved at the start, but an awful lot of people just didnt believe it was as simple as saying we are leaving.

And it also looks like Davies is implying that what DC and GO warned us of may happen when we leave. Are you ready for that? I hope so, you voted for it. I repeat, Voted for it !

If you are not sure about that, look up his comments about paradigm change, and when/what he refers and compares to

Why do you keep assuming that we want a soft border??

    The EU

We won't talk about a trade deal until the money's sorted

    UK

    money is sorted

    The EU

We won't talk about a trade deal until Ireland's border is sorted.

    UK

What the ****, what's next after this is sorted??

The way the EU are going we will end up just walking away, that then will be a classic case of, (for the EU), "biting the hand that feeds"

  11. You haven't a chance of redemption, IIR.

What a shame. I really thought you had a remote chance.

    Nope.

Hook line and the other thing.

Tell us, IIR, who else on this PLANET shares your delusion? Some names, please.

17.4 million back in June 16 and many more now, unfortunately I can't name them all for you, sorry. :D:D

  13. You shouldnt, you voted for hard borders.

But then you seem to like Ireland as it is.

2 direct opposites. So which 1 do you want ?

  14. As i said before.

That sounds like frustration at how simple the exit from the eu isnt simple.

Those 3 things were all in 1 package of discussion, not seperated.

There's no need to go into attack mode, DA.
You could have just said "I don't know".
    Or, "I'm not sure".
    Or.
"I don't know how these things work in practice but if I can latch onto the chance of stopping brexit, I will".
Cos hope, no matter how vain, is still hope.

The ROI and NI don't want a hard border, so let's leave it as it is.
If the, EU want otherwise then that's up to them, but I don't think the ROI would agree to the terms.
