Is it likely that this wallpaper has asbestos?

Hi all, the wallpaper in the bedroom in my flat has been painted over before we bought the flat. Now I want to get rid of it but wonder if it could contain asbestos. See picture attached. Is it possible or likely that it does?

The survey identified asbestos elsewhere in the flat (ceiling - Artex, risers - AIB), but they didn't check the wallpaper underneath the paint because it was a management survey and not a refurbishment survey (so I was told).

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Absolutely no chance, that is a patterned wallpaper that has been painted over some years ago to freshen the appearance up. There is no asbestos in wallpaper manufacturing, in USA it did occur due to cross contamination many, many years ago.

Thanks everyone. Having a small baby at home I wanted to take no chances. I'll go ahead and get that thing off. Cheers
