Is replacing the induction hob possible?

    Hi,

I have a Bora basic induction hob with ducting, and the two left rings are showing a "E6" error message. Unfortunately, the repair cost is quite high at £1300, so I am considering replacing it with a more affordable hob. Could you please let me know if another brand of hob can be connected to Bora ducting?

Additionally, could you recommend a place to purchase a new hob along with installation service?

best prices I've seen at the moment for any electricals is AO. As to getting another make of hob to fit the existing ducting as it is, I think you will struggle.
There's other products on the market for which spares are readily available should you need them and at more reasonable prices.
