I've got to laugh how many contributors are bored with the cc/ccc argument. Sorry Dick and Captain incontinence times are changing and you need to accept it.

I have been out working since 9.30 only had one job but on my return go to my local merchants suprised to hear they are now open till 4. Due to our host opening up down the road. My merchants full of the members of the public buying and trying and returning items lol.

Me being the only local plumber there restocking my van picked up 2 jobs from it, lovely jubbly.
 
I think this fella's got away easy so far, where's all the usual abuse and general pizztaking. Has he scared everyone off by calling dick a bully. :^O
 
Listen here you clueless morons, Plumbers do apprenticeships, they leave Skool & start their time, work closely with a Journeyman on a 'one to one' basis. Now, a Journeyman has also served his time and has had the 100+ years knowledge passed on to him, so the lad has a first class apprenticeship with real Plumbers that can teach him his trade.

You lot are a bunch of failed losers, you failed in your last career or could not keep down a job, then think 'Oh I'll try that Plumbing lark, it looks easy'. You are deadbeat losers, with too much baggage & a big gob.

As I always say; any of you Rsoles that think you are worth your salt, come work on one of our two man Heating squads. Working 'Job and Finish' 4 systems in 4 days and snagging on a Friday. 6-7 Rads & a combi boiler. You tozzers would still be reading through your mickey mouse course notes & the job would be half finished.

Or work with our commercial heating kru, fitting & welding 3" steel pipe all day on piece work.

loz, you have been in business for 18months & average £5-6K a month? That works out a minimum annual T/O of £60K??? So this fast track course providers are right when they claim you can earn £35K pa, in employment or £60K+, if you go self employed route?????
Loz, I take it you're VAT registered? I have reason to believe your said earnings exceed the VAT threshhold:(. Well, the OP wants to know where you are (out of interest) :^O:^O:^O. If you ask me, I'd say he's trying to warm his way to a job with you:D. Who can blame him? With that kind of T/O, you need assistance. That way, you earn even more.

The one day heating isn't hard, it's just physical. I know I couldn't do it at my age, I wouldn't want to neither. But then you wouldn't last five minutes on it yourself now you old *, what with your gout and your dodgy knees and everything else. :^O

Wire up an S or Y plan?,big deal,all you have to do is google for info,***.

Take away your computor,courses,Forums,RFs and your * good and proper.

Dave, Dave how wrong can you be!! I'm a very fit chap for my age. In fact I'm on the go early today as I'm going for a jog, what with the Highland Games session coming up I need to get my body weight & fitness levels up. These young pups take a bit of beating at the Caber Tossing & 100 meters. I enjoy very good health, apart from my Farmer Giles I'm in A1 shape!!

Anyway, I'm not sure why I'd get involved with doing work of that nature, when I can employ some wrench monkeys for £400 a system.

The irony in all this is; we have self-employed time served ex-site Plumbers working for us at £10/hour & these deadbeat CC/CCCs think they can make a living at our trade..........LOL!!!!

I think you must be more than a little thick mate. My point about Y and S plan wiring is that I don't do it by numbers, I don't need to look it up - I understand it without recourse to other materials. But this was of course a simple example which seemed to go way over your head.

I'm all for more rounded individuals joining the trade, people who don't have the same bigoted, blinkered attitudes that you demonstrate with each and every post you make.

You know why can easily take work from people like you? look in the mirror mate.

BTW in the next two weeks I am doing a BBU to 40kW combi conversion, putting a heat-only circuit and boiler into a large church hall including linking two circuits for redundancy purposes and a few maintenance jobs. Pre-tax profit circa £3,100. What do you make messing around with guttering?

I have to wonder what sort of life you have. Do you get home wearing your blue overalls, carrying your triangular leather plumbers bag, bits of horses hair coming out of your flat cap, fresh from your latest long screw exploit?

What do you talk to your friends about? Are you constantly muttering about CC’s / CCC’s and their inability to install cast iron guttering without silicone? Do you have any friends or have they long abandoned you in fear of committing suicide to get away from your constant embittered ramblings?

You’re sad mate, sad and bitter. You don’t seem to have any sort of meaningful life except for harassing people on internet forums who you deem less worthy than yourself.

Please, get a life before it’s too late. Why not take up a hobby, like spelling – that would be a good one for you. Remember, plumbing is just a job. Say this to yourself a few times a day and you might just become a rational member of the human race instead of the bitter sad man that you are.

Me, I do what I do and enjoy it. I spend about 5 months each year abroad and do you know what? I don’t once think about my lack of cast iron guttering skills. Me bad.
