I'm heading ooop north to the 'dales tomorrow evening for a few days with Doris Bodgit, likely to be a bit cooler but still reasonable temperatures.

Just wait till you have to work in 40+ deg C ... or even in some cases up to 50 or more.

27 degrees outside in the shade today here and going to be hotter tomorrow - and that is here in the North Coast of N.I.
Feels like easily as hot as around the Med usually does.

    We do today!!!! :p
Nowhere better than the views here today.
Baking hot and suddenly any of us blokes that isn’t wearing shorts just looks silly.
It is all about carrying survival gear with us here, - bottle water, sunglasses, and wearing shorts and sandals.

Have you been up there recently?

I find that with all the insulation that the roof space is a lot cooler than without.

With the loft mostly done, I get a good breeze through as windows on front and back.

I've been up there to get stuff, is certainly a bit cooler but in this weather the whole house is quite hot and there's no air circulation at all up there. Still very stifling. A couple of velux windows would make a great deal of difference!

    Metrication and the Met Office.
Lady of the house is 'glowing', I am 'perspiring'.
I had to reprimand her today for using the incorrect unit of measurement of temperature.
    I noted it was 25 C....and she said...... 'it's a shot as F'.
Surely it's the same level of heat and C should be used ?
