DA, just read her words “ Do things in German interest “ not, “EU interest”. Think about it a bit deeper, you might realise she only wants things done in German interest. What does that tell you?

Translated quite well chip. She obviously doesn’t want people to do things for the EU’s interest, otherwise she’d have said “EU interest” her words. Tell me, from her speech, who’s interests is she looking out for ?

Make no mistake, the Mail has gone full blown lefty, the transition period will not be gradual, it's happening.
A lefty relative of mine was Political Editor of a lefty paper, after Paul Dacre retired as editor this year, my relative and his superiors have been drafted in to The Mail, so in short, the political editorial of The Mail is entirely in the hands of left leaning remainers, you'll need to come up with a new counter chips, "you read it in the Daily Mail" is far more likely to match something you or DA or the carpentry tycoon from Luton says.

I think you've completely missed the point of what she said. She's saying that others should be included in the definition of 'German interest', and Germany shouldn't look to act solely for the benefit of it's own people, but aim for win-win policies, where everyone benefits.

Of course JJ missed the point, the whole point of JJ is that he will miss the point on every occasion without fail.
JJ will only see the what he is told to see by by snake oil salesmen and he will believe them implicitly.
JJ has been told to believe things that are a total contradiction of how he lives his life but he still believes them.
I wonder if JJ is a catholic?
