I left around the same time that goldenboy had some cretin jumping all over him. Comparisons were made and I was hung. It wasn't me. Pete I'm sure will confirm that to anybody who asks.
HAD I been here I would have made mincemeat of the toad.
I've no doubt that this man had no desire to hide behind a computer and would quite literally have violently knocked golden boy into the next hemisphere :D I am relieved to hear that he is still alive!
I understand the comparisons drawn but it wasn't me.
The only way I'd be capable of violence is if it concerned my daughter. Then I would quite happily behead a man :)

  2. Steady, Miss P - you're beginning to lose it...

Trouble is you only ever want Miss P on your own terms Dev.
Like most people, you wanna pick and choose parts of me.
You take everything and give little in return.
    Your a good egg though.
    OK I will "steady".

And yet cannot provide an answer to how the universe was created. Cannot show how matter is created from nothing.

The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead.
    Albert Einstein.

And a pensioned off school teacher thinks he knows better because he listened to the likes of zealots like hitchens and dawkins.

    Self praise is no praise.

On a scale of 1-100 you come about 7 with Einstein about 97.
Humility. One of Einsteins great attributes. You should try it some time.

Holy mother  is that the best you've got Ry?
It IS evil. My grandparents on my dads side were Irish catholic. Its a horrid religion that would rob anybody of any sanity. Try growing up with up with it!
How did you grow up ry? I'm nosey :D

I realise you and advocate have something in common but quite why you think the sun shines out of his arze I'll never know.

On a scale of 1-100 I'd put you below zero ry and Dev about 98 :D OK maybe 92 then  92 is still good :)

Coz he is clever :) and he don't take no carp from me :p but he has this nice side that sort of almost on a good day understands me. And he never crosses the line. He just sticks me back in my box. I like that. I trust him.

I beg to differ. And as I said on another thread, I know Dev would verbally crucify all the nasty bullies out there on the other forums. I saw so many good people getting ripped apart, it wasn't nice :( I was okay coz I'm me :D but the other people weren't as tough as me. I'm not Dev so I couldn't help them much  I took the odd swipe and hit em where it hurt but I couldn't wait to get back home to screwfix.

Michio Kaku, arguably one of the smartest people alive, has publicly stated that he believes in a God who created the universe.
And you believe a keyboard warrior like advocate or his other zealous friends dawkins and hitchens?

Mr Kaku can't be that smart if he believes in nonsense
I will stick with Devs posts :) even when I'm banned.
I have my own mind. I'm not saying I believe every word that comes out of Dev, I don't. Sometimes I disagree with him. He used to have me spitting feathers. When he goes for the kill he can be lethal! I admire that :D who wouldn't?

Advocate doesn't even scratch the surface on his depth of knowledge of the universe.

I don't need to know the universe. All I need to know is me and the little pond that I choose to paddle in :) bit like you eh Ry? ;)

Bull. Atheism does not effectively mean 'rational of thought'. 'Clear-thinking'. Evidence-based rationale.

Not believing in any god does not make one automatically 'rational of thought'.

It may make one less fearful of punishment though.

True Christians for example, fear that if they do bad, God will punish them.

What do they fear if there is no god to punish them? And what is to stop them being evil?

    Nothing.
