Hear hear that man. Do gooders , whilst having some nice ideas, are very much out of touch with some of the human race.
So are you saying!!! Holland. Belgium. Luxembourg. All of which have a euthanasia and assisted suicide laws are wrong.??? Remember. They are all in your. Beloved EU.
Most police carry firearms I believe in the EU. Ready to defend themselves and other innocents. In reality, - executioners if needed
Incarceration is, in effect state sanctioned kidnapping. The beurocratic wiffwaff that is the, EU will surely cotton on to that technicality eventually. 240 days and counting.
Of course there are degrees of wrong, and degrees of 'murder' (and rape and robbery and any other crime). My "Putting humans to death is either wrong or it isn't." comment did not express my meaning - which I suspect you actually know, you bludy pedant; it was meant to cover the 'putting to death' of those (how do I put this?) who have it acted on them against their will or desire. "Victims". You know what I mean, btiw2, surely? You know I don't include those who attend Dignitas or those struggling to draw their last breath for whom the doctor administers a slightly greater dose of morphine for their sake. Do I personally care whether Thomas Mair lives or dies? No. Do I personally care if these two jihadist thugs ditto? No. Would I feel a tingle of satisfaction knowing that they are having a tough time or have been attacked whilst in goal? To my slight shame, yes. But would I feel real shame if our country were to put them to death, or help this occur? Yes, deep shame. These two utterly pathetic, inadequate, feeble-minded, misguided and deeply loathsome people had brave and innocent fellow human beings at their complete mercy, and they chose to kill them in a brutal fashion. We now have these pathetic folk at our mercy.
Not quite 99%, but - yes - there seemingly always has been a majority in favour of capital punishment. And you know what I think of what the majority sometimes wants...
Was it ethical for your God and war criminal hero tony blair to lie to Parliament and the country resulting in untold deaths,by taking us to war.
Well if you're murdered, you're either dead or not murdered at all ( perhaps just severely beaten, shot, stabbed etc) Why should the courts always put the rights of the perps above those exact same rights the victim should have enjoyed ?
There is no doubt in my mind that some crimes are worthy of the death penalty. The issue though is how much control you want to cede to the State.
Apparently the jihaddi in question have had their citizenship taken away from them, is this possible?
