Kamala Harris Vs Trump

Alan, I have not known you to be right on anything you ever say, you are a lefty and have a warped view on anything that is put in front of you. Talk about Trump not accepting a vote claiming it is rigged is no different to your views as claims of fake news,

You can keep providing it, but like I say, if you are making a bet make sure you are not just tricking yourself, there is an election result coming.

Republicans have a lot of money riding on Trump, in the US donors are investors that expect a return on their support, they control parts of the media and broader campaign, it's a business, as it is for democrats of course, it's just American politic, my point here is you don't need to swallow it.

Firstly I don't think that's accurate, and the example is telling, Trump didn't accept the result of the last election, this is a fact, my 'claims' I can verify for you, two significantly different things, the truth matters in matters involving the truth.

I will yet again be proven right, Trump will win but here is another point to chew over, Kamara Harris just might not even end up being a candidate to stand against trump.

I can categoricaly say that the popularity of a person can win elections regardless of policy. Trump is very much like me, he is a popular figure and it will take some knocking him out of the presidential race. I would say at this moment in time that if I were to stand against him it would be the only chance of him losing the race.

This was a wager, as such I have to do due diligence to my bank account, you don't go into a bookies and back a horse because you like the name, then try to rubbish all the other horses, well you could but it doesn't win bets, we have a few months to election, Harris has already met the supporting funding demands ahead of announcement, that is she is already backed going into selection, done deal there I'd say.
But the key factors are direction of travel, we have a few months to watch that and it is a strong indicator, for that I'd refer you to the Financial Times, they do the best analysis, usually a combination average of all results, provides the bigger picture very broadly, this is 18 hours ago, Harris has risen since the last one...

An 'approval rating' is a percentage determined by polling which indicates the percentage of respondents to an opinion poll who approve of a particular person or program, it only tells part of the story but it tells the part that is dynamically changing, she has been a nominee for what? a week? take a look at the next one to see a more accurate direction of travel.

Next there are the debates, if Trump does in fact show up, there are rumours he won't, doesn't matter either way for that, when a candidate doesn't turn up it's for the same reason, Trump's limited negative waffling works with an ageing biden, it could never against a lucid person offering a positive message, he would be revealed and sunk in my opinion.

Then I'd look at the policies, it is absolutely the case that an outgoing or sitting government is against the wall there, their policies are already in place and if people don't like them there is not much they can do, an incoming candidate always has the promise of the wind of change factor, and then..oh, abortion, decisive and half of the US population who don't poll are going to have an opinion on that, there are others.

It could be that Harris can't close the gap in the time given, I personally think all things considered she can, and the data shows she is already doing just that.

Well all I can say is let us see, but I am sticking my neck out and saying that Trump is the next president. here is how Kamela Harris got to the position that she now enjoys. The one you find impressive.

The pole still shows a 44% peak for her, she has never gone above that and neither has biden but he still won over Trump even though the polls were in Trumps favour. A spike which this is, was expected when Biden dropped out and a new candidate announced so the sponsorship money flowed in again, be odd if it didnt. It doesn't mean a lot as there is 4 months still to go.

A terrible performance by Donald Trump in the debate. He should have knocked her flat out but he didn't. He has certainly lost his Mo Jo since being shot in his ear

Trump spent weeks accusing Harris of not debating, announces he will do 3 debates.

First Harris v Trump debate and Trump announces he is not doing any more debates:)

Fundamental Christians still hold out hope:rolleyes:

Speaking to Fox News Trump claimed that the debate had been "rigged" and that he was "less inclined" to attend another after his "great night".

A 'great night' because Trump also claimed that polls show he won the 'rigged' debate.

Fact now: there are no polls that show he 'won', and most political commentators say he didn't win, I watched it and his performance was more lies, exposed by the panel in real time.

Trump makes up his own reality, he decides what is true and his fans believe what he says, that is they are unable(or unwilling) to accept actual reality, preferring Trump's 'reality'.

This is god syndrome, most know the things in the bible are not actually true but some choose to believe it, hence why a vast swathe of US fundamentalist Christians find it so easy to believe things Trump says that are very obviously just made up, he himself struggles with the same phenomena, he reads a very dubious claim that immigrants are eating peoples pets on his wako social media site, no evidence, believes it, and repeats it on live TV, and the programmers have already verified with police that there are no reports, or evidence of anyone eating anyone's pets, just a woman on social media.

Wacko.

A dissapointing debate. Trump was certainly behind on this debate. Very unusual. I don't particularly want Trump to win but I want Kamala to win even less. The two candidates are both liars and neither of them aree a great choice.
