    Hi All
Just about to order a kitchen and need to know if the decor end panels are used to replace the existing ones supplied with the cabinet carcass.

No, they are a decorative addition that is fixed to the unit.

....... so you need to add an extra 18-20mm and allow for it.

Not always - unless pre-assembled units. If flat pack you switch the panels.

In over 40 years of experience and having fitted hundreds of kitchens from many manufacturers, I have never encountered this, though I am always happy to discover something new.

Fitted a B&Q kitchen (yeah, I know) a long time back which had decor panels pre drilled for drawers and doors but you pre determined the use first then did a Wren last year which was blank panels.

Interesting, I've not come across it, but I must say I've not fitted a flat pack kitchen for a few years.
