I have two water damaged kitchen doors in shajer style.
We had a water leak on our washing machine thats in a unit.
The water ran down between the rail and stile joint and has blown.
I want to protect the new doors incase this haens again but I'm unsure what I can use.

I was thinking of either clear plasticoat or a varnish?

Personally I would address the issue of the washing machine to avoid it happening again.

Plasticoat clear aerosol is a worthy choice probably in a satin finish.

We have addressed it as far as we can tell but you never can truly be sure.
The machine is on 7 days a week several time a day
