    Hi

Regs say that new kitchens must have mechanical ventilation. So wondering how to meet this requirement.

kitchen hood is too far from external wall and don’t fancy ducting running beneath period cornicing.

So thinking need to fit extractor fan neatly up high on external wall, ducted straight out.

However, noise is an issue. Who would want a fan buzzing away every time you put the kitchen light on?

    any ideas?

They are not connected via the light, that’s for bathrooms. Kitchen one you would switch manually

My old kitchen had a nice neat line of three iisolating switches for hood, w machine and d washer, all heals in a single box. I guess you just buy the switches you need - can anyone point me to a link where I can buy? Can’t find.

    cheers
