Labour / Keir Starmer

I think you mean you don't know her policies, that's different from not having any.

But since you mention it, what are Trump's? last I heard he only had one, to make America great again, bit vague no?
He didn't mention, Trump in the post you're replying too.
He did however say that he wasn't aware of any policies the cackler has laid on the table, because there doesn't seem to be any.
Can you list a few?

Sure, but so that I'm convinced I'm not wasting my time can you list Trump's?

And that's the end of that:)

Another kick in the teeth for many pensioners who live alone. already reeling from having no heating allowance worth £300, but possibly another £500. Entirely expected from the govt that seem to hate pensioners. Perhaps this is part of a grand scheme to reduce demands from the pensioners on DWP, NHS etc .

but what’s strange is that this will also impact younger people who tend to live alone, whom the govt has great faith in !

Hes obviously never had to live on the bread line hes a vile man, bring back Boris.

Labour has never been for the working man for years now, there is no surprises in this to me. I predicted that the next election will see George Galloway and his working party take over from labour as the labour it once was.

Quite. It will affect anyone who lives in a household where only one persomn is over 18, not just pensioners who live alone.

Council tax is levied on the basis that a house is occupied by two adults. Where there is only one, that person will be ripped off, and where there are more than two, those people will still be getting preferential treatment and cheaper bills.

Do you mean it would disproportionately favour those where, for whatever reason, there are several adults living at the same property. I don't know, perhaps where parents, and their grown up offspring, plus the offspring's partners, all live at the same premises.
And disproportionately affect households where there is just one adult, possibly a single parent trying to earn a living and care for children without being dependent on the state, or perhaps someone above retirement age who has lost their life-companion and soulmate.

Yes, of course. Two parents, one or more child over 18, for instance. Standard council tax rate for the address.

Yes.

The answer of course is to go back to the so-called "poll tax"; not as it was when first introduced, with councils inflating the payments, but after, when it had settled to a more reasonable figure (rememmbering that there was always a discount for hard-up people).
