Larger than unusual 110mm Downpipes

Got a client who asked me to paint his old PVC downpipes. I advised that replacing the old o downpipes will be much cheaper than sanding/priming/painting the old pipes. Only problem I have is that his current downpipes are 110mm diameter Normally I would simply replace the gutter end connector (currently 110mm outlet) so I can attach the new 68mm downpipes. Due to the building height, I can't reach the gutter so I want to keep 3ft of the old 110mm downpipe and reduce to 68mm from where I can reach. I could use a universal hopper to make this transition but I would prefer to use a reducer adapter instead. Problem: None of the major retailers seems to sell 110mm (112mm) to 68mm adapters and those few that I found online cost £10 plus, just like the cheapest hoppers cost around £10. That sucks, especially if the standard gutter end connector for downpipes are available for only £3.

Any suggestions how I can connect the new 68mm downpipes to the old 110mm downpipe if I want the transition to be seamless while spending less than £5 for it?

leave it and paint it

You don't really need to sand and prime plastic guttering before painting. After a good wash down, oil-based gloss can go straight on.
