    Hi there,
My lead bay window is starting to look messy. The lead is covered in what looks like a red oxide . Tried cleaning with basic products but no joy. Is there anything stronger that will clean it up ?

Failing that I will most probably replace as I don't like the scalloped bottom edge. Will get some quotes but should I get lead or grp replacement ? Thanks Screenshot_20200629_224820_com.android.gallery3d.jpg

Lead was not coated when fitted.
I painted mine with the stain/paint that is used on slates if they are not through cut so the white becomes same colour as the slate looks a mate gray very nice but u can get metal paints of all colours.
or brush head on drill and treat with Sealent as should have been done when layed use gloves
