    I'm looking for some advice.

Last year I had a boiler fitted and the outside drainage pipe was leaking within the bedroom cupboard, this has caused the water and salt type residue to leak within the cavity wall and go downstairs causing a damp patch in my hall wall downstairs.

At night time is looks like glitter type on the wall through the paint. I have repaired the leak and have recently used Platinum Salt Neutraliser which was seen to react and strip the paint back to plaster. The glitter type residue can still be seen but very lightly compared to what it was. when I recoated with neutraliser there was no more reaction.

I wiped the walls clean and used the dehumidifier to dry the walls. My concern is the mark where the leak was original has shown up, My concern is if I paint again it will come back through.

I am looking for advice on what I should do.

    Thanks in advance,
