I have this type of window which leaks air badly. The windows is not that old. It's as if there is a gap between the window and the frame. Can they be adjusted ? How do you do that ?

You'll get them a tad tighter if you take that spag catch(see in your second picture, in the frame) off and turn it round. Do the other as well.

Probably the 'Q' seal on the frame has contracted. It shouldn't flap about when the window is shut tight, but I'll bet it does.

Check the following before fixing your window:

Where one section of the window meets another
Where the windows meet the frame
Where the frame meets the wall

Where the frame meets the wall

    Hi,

Also have a look to see if the hinges are not buckled preventing the window opener from meeting the seals of the frame correctly.
