LED throughout kitchen new build

Hi All,

apologies in advance if any lingo is not right.

I am in a new build, the kitchen has a 3 gang light switch with 2 operating the kitchen ceiling lights and the 3rd feeding into a junction box underneath a kitchen cupboard.

I want to use the 3rd switch via the junction box to set up LED strip lights underneath kitchen cabinets/cupboards. would i still need a driver to lower voltage and is it as simple as feeding Live, Neutral from junction box into the LED driver, then LED driver to LED Strip

You can do it that way or you can get very low profile LED battons that run directly off the mains and link together. I use a lot of the Robus ones in kitchens, very good light (two colours built in)
