I bought a big tub of this for ceilings as I was getting fed up with the rubbish covering ability of the bog standard contract whites.

I've got a load of bare plaster to cover and I'm wondering whether to use that, or water down the cheapo stuff that I've always used as a mist coat in the past.

Heard before of leytex being left floating on the surface of new plaster after the moisture has been sucked out of it, is this likely to happen with the Leyland?

Leyland acrylic primer undercoat following guide for new plaster (online data sheet) That's what I use and recommend. It's nice and smooth and will seal a tad ready for top coat of whatever you want to use
