Does anyone know of a decent paste the wall lining paper that's thick enough to cover pretty bad walls? Tried https://www.amazon.co.uk/Superfresc...per&qid=1595242177&sprefix=wall+doctor&sr=8-1 and it covered absolutely nothing!
For a step up in lining paper quality, look no further than ......... https://www.screwfix.com/p/erfurt-w...0m/1506p#product_additional_details_container Superb quality, yes more expensive than other lining papers but, if you have problem walls ,,,,,,,, take a read through the reviews Some wall prep still required, this paper is good but not an outright miracle cure ! Widely available in several size rolls and also there's a 'smooth' version which is new i believe The paper in the link is a whooping 1,000mm wide so less joins, faster wall coverage, can be tricky to hang, a spare pair of hands is helpful, paste the wall or you can paste the paper also Read up on the product and make your choice
The wall finish is only as good as the preparation prior to hanging the lining paper, lining paper is used to even out the porosity of the walls surface and in no way used to hide lumps and bumps.
