I was going to place a bet that they would win nowt.

Trouble was the odds were so poor that they would win nowt it wasn't worth placing a bet.

Especially if Alonso and Arbeloa go which looks likely.

 

A. Arbeloa is expected to join Real Madrid next week for what seems like a bargain 4.5m to me.

I'm hoping that we can hang on to X.Alonso, because he will be vital for our push to be the premiership champions in 2010.

I feel Man Utd will be much weaker this season as will Arsenal, Man City's new players will need time to blend, which leaves Chelsea as The pools main threat and I know we can beat them.
On the whole it does look quite good for Liverpool in the 2009/10 season!

Yeah, he is a key player too, who we must keep. Apparently, he likes it at Liverpool but his wife doesn't so he will have to put his foot down with her about this - I'm sure he will stay.
Lucas is a fringe player who is oftern called upon to replace S. Gerrard when he is out. He's always going to look so so whilst being compared to the great S. Gerrard.
