Insurance companies insist on locks to BS 3621. The cylinders I have are marked ISI950; EN1303. Is this a comparable or better standard? I asked the (very well-known) insurance company and they would not give me an answer.

BS 3621:2017 the lastest standard, covers Euro Deadlock & Sashlock, Rim Cylinder locks such as Night Latches & Rim Locks & Mortice SashLock & Mortice DeadLock (must have 5 levers), so a higher level of security for external locks..

EN 1303:2005 is a European Standard relating to cylinders.

There is also TS007 Kite Mark with 1, 2 or 3 stars standard for euro locks by The Door and Hardware Federation and the Glass and Glazing Federation.

Thanks for the reply. So, if I understand that correctly the standards are for different things. LV (my insurance company) refuse to tell me if the cylinders I have meet their requirements. (But I bet they would argue their point if I ever made a claim.)
