OMG

Its brand new out of the showroom with 3 miles on the clock, I wasn't expecting a recall so soon

The recall was before you bought it so the dealership would have sorted it out with Honda before you bought it, it should be on the paperwork.

I can now honestly say that this slight mishap has really turned out quite well. For example, today I visited a pub I often frequent only this time on my bike. I soon drew a crowd around my bike and I became the main attraction and topic of conversation, nothing new there you may think, surely that is just par for the course with me being such a vibrant and amazing character that does that naturaly. But today had a different air about it, I became a folk hero and something of a gladiator. People were commenting on the damage to such a beautiful bike and one that matches my good looks. I astounded everyone as I told them how I was crossing South Africa on my epic journey accross this wilderness when a Leapord appeared from nowhere and leapt at me and bit into my mirror and was hanging onto it with its teeth. Everyone wanted to hear more of my journey accross this continent and loved my tales of pure terror and my courage. To be honest I feel I should keep the damage and am considering damaging more of the bike as it really goes with the style.

To be honest, if someone rode into a pub car park where I was sitting outside on bike like yours I would not look twice. Now if they rode in on a softail custom or a fatboy, even a bonnie, that would be a different story and would definitely want a look.
Big difference is that my bike is a big imposing looking monster and with me riding on it, is quite a sight. I always draw a crowd.
