I have the makita one. Brand new and it sits in my shed.
Have collapasable wooden stands which are far better.

    Apologies. Misread the post.

Saw stand wise the Dewalt ones are very good.

I have the long beam one in the workshop and a pair of the short beam ones for out fitting.

Even if I had a Makita saw I would use it on the Dewalt stand.

I've got the larger Dewalt saw stand, acquired a few years ago, but I've got an 8" Bosch mitre saw and the big 12" Makita beast. I mounted the bracket clamps onto a piece of 3/4 ply and sit the saw on top of that, doubles as a stationary workbench too.

Got the Bosch GTA2500W gravity stand very good kit,got it cheap off Ebay, think it better than the Makita version, which you can find occasionaly cheap on Ebay.
