I am having trouble getting masking tape of my UPVC framed windows, some of the tape comes off and some remains which is a pig to get rid of.

The windows are new and I do not want to risk scratching or damaging them, so whats the best way to clean off all the remnants ?

The best way is: Buy the correct masking tape for the job, as there are many different types available.

Not leave in stuck on for longer than stated by the manufacturer.

For cleaning off the adhesive try WD40.

Good advice, and WD40 will shift it. With regard to the masking tape always remove when the paint is becoming touch dry, pulling gently outward away from the painted surface.

    Thanks lads,

Is there a No! No! when it comes to UPVC what about white spirit ?

I will take up your WD40 suggestion though.
