I borrowed a old stencil. I traced it on metal sheet intending to cut out the letters then use it as a tracing medium for a wood router many times. I am lost as to how cut out the letters as i will not be able to boorrow the stencil again. Is it a case of chiseling by hand, metal router or laser cutter ?

YOU could hire a plasma cutter for a day or two for around about £30-£40 or you could use a jigsaw with a really fine metal blade depending on the thickness on the sheet or plate of metal
