Hi all, My tile cutter wasn't man enough to cut 60x60 porcelain 10mm thick tiles so i went to a couple of tiling shops, Topps tiles and some other one. I brought the tile with me and we tried cutting it on a pull cut sigma but it just wasnt cutting it kept splitting like in the picture below. Then i went to another place and tried a montolit cutter which worked better but still not ideal. Is there somthing im doing reallly wrong?? both me and 4 other people have struggled 1 of them was a tiler who i asked to see if he could cut with it. Shall I just ditch this new £380 montolit and buy a bloody wet cutter??
I ended up using my angle grinder with a cutting bit in the end.

Please anyone help as there are many more to cut tomorrow :)

I realise this might be an obvious/stupid question, but are you snapping them in the middle?

The way that tile has cracked, its almost as if you've tried to 'split' it from the top inch or so
