I recently saw this question asked on another site :- What are your most used power tools & I thought that it would be a good subject for this forum. Please bear in mind that I am now retired, so mine are now for DIY use, please let me give you my list.
1/ Facetious, I know, my Makita radio. ;)
2/ Cordless drill/driver for quick jobs.
3/ 240v SDS drill, with interchangable chucks.
4/ 240v small impact driver....Magic bit of kit.
    5/ Delta sander.....Dead useful.

I look forward to seeing your choices. :)

Cordless impact driver (best thing to put screws in with undoubtedly)

    Cordless drill /driver.

    SDS drill.

    Circular saw.

Multitool (just so versatile, I couldn't imagine work without this now)

    ;);)

I ask the misses, her answer isn't publishable on a public forum.:oops::):D:p

As for me its either a heavy Bosch breaker or a 9" grinder.

Exactly the same, plus one other tool, a sabre saw, so handy & very underated tool.

  5. I'm just thinking about the same question only 10 years ago. Or longer...

Li-Ion was only available from Panasonic
No impact drivers, or certainly not for the prices we have now.
    Brush-less was a revolution.
Component drives (so chuck would wonder eventually)
