Mouse to suck cables through conduits/pipes?

    You will often seen long lengths of MDPE in skips - builders buy the standard 50m coil, use half and dump the rest!

    I might be inclined to put some form of warning tape on top or wrapped around though - just in case in future someone digs down and finds "water". I know it will only be 5v but the hassle would be a real pain.

    Good idea about tape, usually green for telephone/fibre.

    And skips have been pretty poor around here lately.:(

    Never thought of using a mouse, have used a cat to thread new cable through the girder like section of a cherry picker, even filled in a time sheet for cat and sent it to boss.

    I suppose it all depends on what pets you have!

    Seen a plumber use a ferret to put draw cord under a supended floor where crawl space was only inches to pull through a new mdpe pipe, & spark use same ferret to get some cable through a area on first floor , save lifting very wide old floor boards.
