Discussion in 'Tech Talk' started by Paul Blackburn, Feb 15, 2020 at 8:56 AM.

  1. My wife has a lot of photos on her Apple ipad and would like to put them onto her laptop and as I haver never used a ipad not sure of the procedure to move them.Just going to Google it and see what I can find but any advice would be apreciated.

  2. Have found the following instructions on Google and my wife has connected the ipad to the laptop and the ipad is showing in My PC on the laptop my wife right clicked on the ipad sign and it does say import but it say this folder is empty so obviously doing something wrong.

I select the files needing to transfer the hit cut and then padte into new destination.

    Or simply drag and drop.

  4. Not sure I know what you mean I thought you could just click on import the photos you want. When my wife clicked on the ipad logo on the desktop it said it was empty so you cannot copy and past if the folder is empty.

    1. Plug your iPhone or iPad into your PC using a suitable USB cable.
    2. Launch the Photos app from the Start menu, desktop, or taskbar.
    3. Click Import. ...
    4. Click any photos you'd like to not import; all new photos will be selected for importing by default.
